Sunday Recap for November 20, 2016:
A Head, Heart, and Hands Church

Mission Highlight: This week, we got to meet and learn more about Levy and his family, his wife Pragcidence, and their daughters Tawonga and Shalom. They work with Hands at Work in Kechele, and are one of our closest partners in the gospel and God's work to serve the most vulnerable in the DRC, Zambia, and Malawi. If you missed it, please watch the video and continue and pray for our brother and sister, Levy, Prag and their family!
Question #46: What is the Lord's Supper?

Answer: Christ commanded all Christians to eat bread and to drink from the cup in thankful remembrance of him and his death. The Lord’s Supper is a celebration of the presence of God in our midst; bringing us into communion with God and with one another; feeding and nourishing our souls. It also anticipates the day when we will eat and drink with Christ in his Father’s kingdom.
This week's Sermon: "A Head, Heart, Hands Church" (John's Epistles)

Love is a major theme of all of the entire Bible, but especially in John’s Epistles. Church tradition has held that the Apostle John wrote this epistle. John is the same apostle that is described six times in the Gospel of John as “the disciple whom Jesus loved.” This is the same John that dreamed of power and position before the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, but he was transformed by love and relationship with Jesus. John’s epistles demonstrate that God’s love in Christ has the power to transform our whole lives.

Main Idea: Knowing Christ shapes the way you live.
