Mission Highlight: Praise God for our new members, Jason, Jennifer, Steven, Connie, Yiqian, and Jeremiah. They affirmed their intention, with God’s help, to live loving and holy lives that reflect Christ; to maintain unity with and mutually encourage others in the body as they serve together; to commit themselves to growing in the truth of God’s Word, and to pray for our church and all in it, as well as those who have not yet put their faith in Christ. Pastor Seng, on behalf of existing members, affirmed the commitment of all to love, encourage, teach, admonish, comfort and exhort them to grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ and His Word.
Question #3: How many persons are there in God?

Answer: There are three persons in the one true and living God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are the same in substance, equal in power and glory.
Link to this Week's Sermon: “Purpose" (Ephesians 2:1-10)

“Against the sombre background of our world today Ephesians 2:1-10 stands out in striking relevance. Paul first plumbs the depths of pessimism about man, and then rises to the heights of optimism about God. It is this combination of pessimism and optimism, of despair and faith, which constitutes the refreshing realism of the Bible. For what Paul does in this passage is to paint a vivid contrast between what man is by nature and what he can become by grace.” (John Stott, The Message of Ephesians)

Main Idea: We are created in Christ.
