Sermon Application Questions
This sermon series: Stand Alone Sermons

Question #23: Why must the Redeemer be truly God?
Answer: That because of his divine nature his obedience and suffering would be perfect and effective; and also that he would be able to bear the righteous anger of God against sin and yet overcome death.

Children's Ministry Volunteers Needed! 3 preschool/toddler volunteers, and 2 grade school volunteers. Excellent opportunity to show children who God is, through your love, in word and deed. Please email Janice if you're interested!

Lunch after service! Sam, from the hospitality team, is organizing a lunch in the neighborhood after service. Find him if you'd like to join, meet people, or hang out!
Mission Highlight: Thank you Pastor Curtis for preaching and also sharing about Solid Rock Church and our brothers and sisters there. Solid Rock Church is located just outside of Washington D.C. between a predominately white university community and under-resourced communities of black and brown folk. Praise God for the beautiful display of the gospel at work at Solid Rock Church as he brings people together for His glory. Pastor Curt also shared about a recent difficult dispute in the church that arose and how God has been working through it, as the church has been learning and growing through it. Thank God for the encouragement and brotherhood shared from Pastor Curtis and Solid Rock Church! Let all of us at Christ Church continue to pray for our brothers and sisters there, that God love, bless and work powerfully through them, as one family in Christ.
