Sunday Recap for September 11, 2016:

Our Governing Reality
This week's Sermon: "Life In Exile"  (Daniel 6)

“All that we call human history--money, poverty, ambition, war, prostitution, classes, empires, slavery – is the long terrible story of man trying to find something other than God which will make him happy.” (C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity) Human beings were designed to live with God and for God. To have God govern our reality and show us how to live. But all of our history up to the modern day is so complex. There are so many competing narratives about what it means to have true power and significance. We are going to look at how Daniel dealt with that in his time and see what we can learn for our lives.

Main: God governs reality.
