Afghan Students Care Fund

Hope and Healing for Female Afghan College Students in North America

Christine and Dien are two Americans who love Jesus and care deeply about a special group of young Afghan women who left their country in search of safety and a better life.

In 2020, from her home in Melbourne, Australia, Christine established a community of Afghan and Australian teens who connected online through cultural and language exchange. It was called the Sisterhood.

In 2021 Dien joined Christine and the Sisterhood to mentor, in-person, the girls inside Afghanistan. However, with the fall of Kabul that year, most of the Afghan “sisters” fled their homeland. Though Dien never returned to Afghanistan, twelve of the Afghan girls were accepted to the USA and Canada.

Having never met most of the girls who’ve relocated, in 2024, Dien and Christine have a vision to bring everyone together for a multi-day gathering, not only to finally meet each other, but also to minister to the girls’ mind, body, and souls.

Please watch this video to hear more about the heart and mission for this gathering then prayerfully consider supporting the Sisterhood retreat financially to make this a reality.
